(Pics) Teacher suspended over video of her 'shooting' Donald Trump and shouting 'die' in classroom

A teacher has been suspended after posting a bizarre video of her shouting 'die' and shooting Donald Trump with a water pistol in her classroom.

Footage of Payal Modi an art teacher at Adamson High School,firing the water gun at an image of the US president,sparked fury among some social media users, who called for Modi to be fired.

But others defended the teacher, with one saying: "It's a water gun... obviously a joke."

Dallas Independent School District told Dallas News in a statement:

"Today, we were made aware of a social media posting being circulated involving a teacher at W. H. Adamson High School.
"The teacher has been placed on administrative leave and the district has opened an investigation. This is a personnel matter and, as such, we cannot comment."

Modi has since deleted the clip from her Instagram and made her account private.
