And on Friday night, it was time for the 29-year-old star's bachelorette celebration.
The Juilliard alum partied at the Miami club E11EVEN with 13 of her closest pals, which included OINTB co-stars Danielle Brooks and Uzo Aduba, according to E! News.
Samira - who plays Poussey Washington on the hit Netflix series - was dressed for some laid back fun, seen donning a dark cap and hoodie while at the club celebrating her upcoming nuptials with the 34-year-old screenwriter.
The drinks were flowing during the all-night celebration, as the Washington DC native and pals polished off a magnum of Don Julio 1942 and a magnum of Belvedere before the night was over.
It seemed that the former stage actress and friends kept the party raging into the wee hours of the night.
